Acually, I legitimately pictured Jack Donaghy (conservative right, if I recall correctly) in an episode of 30 Rock approving this campaign happily. And only hours after it launches, his little assistant comes and notifies him of many, many phony calls, after which the camera zooms in on Jack Donaghy and he yells out

You’ve got the touch...
*Dun duun, din DUUUUN*
You’ve got the power!

Oh, thank god. Other than Whedon’s Avengers and Age of Ultron, I can think of any of the music from the MCU. But the themes from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy are still strong in my head (and heart) after all these years.

Here’s my opinion on Legion: It was great. I loved it. It was compelling enough to make me look forward to the next episode.

However, at the end of the day (or its tv season), I didn’t find myself caring about the characters and what they’ll be going through next season. It was just a good show but that’s it.

Agents

Holy cow, how was that a only teaser, Marvel?! Seemed like full-on trailer to me.

Also, I’m still not down from my Wonder Woman high, but Jesus Christ that made me excited! Finally seeing that great cast in full costumes and in action... wow

The book of love is long and boring. No one can lift the damn thing! It’s full of charts and facts and figures.

And instructions for dancing

Thirtysomethingdude, here. I teared up several times during the movie earlier tonight. It was a combination of many things: the importance of seeing the women battle on their own, sad parts, moving parts, and I just really love Wonder Woman so I’ve been waiting for this for so long

Haha I just looked it up, and it’s from 1998?!? I was 17 then. But maybe that’s why it looked so unreal to me, because it’s ancient (though, for the record, I wasn’t insulting your taste in the magazine picture, just was legit in awe at how unreal it looks).

I completely understand, though! I just rewatched the Mighty

Wow, why does that look to me like a gag prop magazine in a Ryan Reynolds movie?

Was the YlOD issue ever fixed in future consoles after the 60gb ones? I got mine in 2011 (the slim 160gb or 120gb, can’t remember) and ever since then I’ve been afraid it would just get YLOD because of all the horror stories I’ve read since 2006. But it hasn’t happened yet.

*EDIT: KNOCK ON WOOD

I’m one of the few that like Spider-Man 3, but I agree with what you wrote.

The “problem” with superhero movies back then (today too, but not as much since that MCU is doing the thing where arcs span multiple movies and different franchises. Like Thor continuing the Loki conflict into the first Avengers movie), was

“Interesting that they’re not going the Kree route...”

That’s not a fact, but just this one article’s speculation. We know that the origin will be different from the books, but we don’t know how different and what aspects are changed

“‘The pope did not say anything. He did not smile. He looked at pool several times.’ - WH pool report from Vatican”

I don’t know what a pool report is, but there’s the old biblical saying “If you can’t say anything good, then don’t say anything at all.” So in fairness, this IS tolerating DJT

I was about to say the same thing. Milla, and a touch of Ali Larter and Michelle Rodriguez thrown in are the reasons I claim to love this stupid franchise. Without them, I would have given up halfway through the second movie and never looked back.

We all saw what happened with Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift.

Season 1 on CBS was a good example, but it’s just unfortunate that season 2's story arc has been about a man. Seriously, looking at it objectively, it’s about Mon-El landing in a pod, learning the ropes of being on Earth, learning how to not lie and fight with Kara every episode, rising to heroism, and then dealing

I can’t source it at the moment, but James Gunn in the very recent couple of weeks has stated that he’s for future GotG movies, and won’t be in the Avengers movies at all.

I was going to bring up Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers, but yours is a much better response.

Personally, I don’t like that he’s being a tad contradictory:

On the one hand, he says he doesn’t want to try please everyone (like twitter bashers), so he’ll do his own comedy the way he wants to, and not get bullied into a type of comedy that many people (and ratings) are clamoring for. It doesn’t matter if his
