Cloud Atlas just had the potential to be a lot better than it was, plus the make-up was distracting. Doesn't make it terrible, just disappointing.

I think it was a temporary sigh of relief. One of those things where it went from "I'm screwed" to "I'm safe" to probably not being okay with it in the long run. But who knows with this show. Needs 44 minute episodes and fewer fake outs.

I noticed Rick and Morty was added to Hulu Plus the other day and accidentally binge watched the entire first season again. I think it actually gets better with every passing re-watch. Shame they aren't the uncut bd/dvd versions of the episodes, though Gazorpazorpfield has more impact when it's censored.

Yeah, Myst and The 7th Guest were a nice 1-2 punch to get CD-Rom drives in PCs.

I think Betty's bitchiness varies depending on how you watched the show. I see constantly complaints about it, but since I've been marathoning the show for the first time (6 seasons in the last 4 weeks), she's a little vindictive but it isn't over the top. She really just seems like a sad character.

As an Asian, the thing I found most offensive about that episode of How I Met Your Mother was the backlash against it. It wasn't a great episode, but the outpouring of racial sensitivity was absurd.

She did a "life affirming" movie about a pianist with ALS last year, it was very much a Lifetime ALS movie, and The Homesman with Tommy Lee Jones. This movie seems like it fits nicely next to Freedom Writers, Amelia, Convinction, You're Not You, and Boys Don't Cry.
