100% agree with you there.

In hindsight one of Murray, Rielly, Trouba, or Dumba would have been the better choice if they were drafting for organizational need at the time.

But any one of those picks, and Murray is arguably the worst of the bunch... Would have been going way off of the board.

Hindsight is a bitch, but

Incredibly hard to do, yet here we are!

I am thrilled that Chia is no longer around to dismantle our roster, and certainly thrilled that he isn’t around long enough to navigate this years trade deadline market.

I still have zero faith that the franchise will exhaust enough energy and do the research necessary to find

Yeah, we get all of that out west as well. Glad he’s panning out for the Leafs.

Kevin Lowe has been on the hot seat for the better part of a decade.

The Oilers don’t work like a functional business... In Oiler land, as long as you were a decent player in the 80's you’ve got a job for life.

Well I mean, McDavid would have walked away with it if it weren’t for Brandon Manning (He who Chiarelli went against all sound advice and traded for.)

Taylor Hall won the Hart with another team (Because Chiarelli traded him for a 3-4 defenceman straight up.)

RNH is nearly a point per game player on a line without McD

Are you in or around the Edmonton area? Because if so, you’re actually one in a very long line of people pointing fingers at Kevin Lowe.

Katz and his OBC are under intense public scrutiny.

Hey guy, it’s called three field goals and an extra point.

Even this Canadian know’s that.

Are we supposed to tip on bills?

Barry said Maple Leafs and second round in the same sentence. What is this world coming to?

Shhh, don’t let people know.

We’re trying to sneak under the radar, not earn respect on a national level.

6-4-1 with 9 of the 11 games coming against teams that made the playoffs last season, a 17 000+ km road trip, and they didn’t play their first home game until well past 2 weeks into the season.

They look a lot closer to the team from two seasons ago than the team that stunk up the joint last season.

I’m cool with them

Same same, couldn’t help but just say WOW.

That was a hell of an entertaining game if you hate defence and goaltending! (Cam has to step his game up past an ECHL level of competency.)

20 games may seem a little harsh on the surface but perhaps Tom, Wilson realize that he needs to temper the tenacity of his play.

The one thing that I did enjoy about the Saddledome was the size of the concourse.

I don’t recall which side of the rink I sat on, I was just there to watch some hockey and the rink is extremely dated but fine if all you care about is the game being played on the ice.

Rexall was a tire fire of a rink, the bottlenecks

The place was antiquated beyond it’s years past 1980.

(Also, the only reason I’ve ever been to McMahon is to see Edmonton play road games. But now that I don’t live in Edmonton or Calgary I’ll stick to going to Vancouver or Edmonton for those.

They suck immense amounts.

McMahon Stadium makes Commonwealth Stadium (Which was built in 1978, but has had many upgrades) look like heaven in comparison.

Calm down there Olli

The “professional” sporting facilities in Calgary are an absolute joke.

Having spent time in both McMahon Stadium and the Saddledome, I wouldn’t wish that discomfort on my worst enemy.

Also, I hope that the whole “Home of the Roughriders” thing was a joke in regards to the fact that the stadium is fall full of green,

Who wants some Canadian content?!

When I was in high school I worked at Tim Hortons. I cheer for an admittedly terrible hockey team, but the spring of 2006 was a magical time in Edmonton, Alberta.

The Oilers were in the Stanley Cup final, I’m a die hard Oilers fan, Tim Hortons has me on the schedule to work during

17 host cities.

Gudalajara, Monterrey, and Mexico City all have adequate stadiums in Mexico.

Yeah, outside of expanding BMO Field, Commonwealth Stadium is the only half adequate stadium to accommodate soccer out of the Canadian cities represented in the bid.
