French would get some of the Belgians and Swiss too.

She would finish last man... doesn’t mean she’s not the greatest of all time.
He doesn’t seem like a bad guy, but he also seems complicit in his answers here with all the Barstool bullshit.
It’s a pretty good catch and finish...
Pretty discouraging season as a Wizards fan. Outside of the 10-3 run they ripped off after Wall first went down (even that was marred by off-the-court drama), there just wasn’t much good to take away. The last week of the regular season was brutal, from the collapse against Cleveland to losing to the tanking Hawks and…
This is too cynical by half- 10 out of 23 from 3 and 18 out of 24 at the rim is very solid. Walled knocked down some open twos, those are fine in the flow of the game and coming off screens. A 20 point victory was not some sort of statistical fluke because they knocked down a couple extra midrange shots.
Got a good chuckle out of Belinelli trash talking while trying (and failing) to guard him.
Nobody (in this comment section at least) is scandalized by the fact that Lance did drugs. Why wouldn’t you care about LeMond or anyone else whose reputations and livelihoods were destroyed because they dared to speak the truth? Paints a pretty dim picture of you as a person.
Great article, but as others have noted, entirely too easy on the man in its conclusion. The field was dirty, and Lance was a helluva rider by any measure, but the number of people’s lives he ruined speaks for itself (and is extensively described throughout the piece). Nobody wants to send him to debtors prison, but…
Terrible comment, re-read the article and particularly sections pertaining to Bassons, Simeoni, Zabriskie and LeMond. Lance went out and destroyed people’s lives and deserves to answer for that. Also, this is idiotic:
this sorry Antwan Jamison-ass quasi-hook flip shot
As bad as the Wizards played and as much as they deserved to lose this game, they had an honest-to-God chance at this one when they cut it to 5 in the fourth. Of course Toronto was bound to answer but Brooks’ rotations were truly mind-boggling. Oubre (who had a decent-looking 14 but was a sieve on defense) played the…
The languishing-on-defense, hands-on-hips, passively fuming regular season LeBron is going back into a box
If players don’t respond immediately to getting beaned, they create no hazard for pitchers to throw intentionally at them, and then the ‘onus’ is on your pitcher to retaliate, which leads to cycle of beaning. The moral response to getting beaned is putting the pitcher in a headlock and giving him a noogie.
Retaliation is ridiculous, but if someone clearly and intentionally throws at you, you are well within your rights to defend yourself. Pitchers who pull this bullshit deserved to get clocked.
with star teammate Moe Wagner stuffed by Villanova’s defense and limited by foul trouble.
Can’t stand Grayson Allen and they should have gotten Bagley some looks... but shitty white guy? The guy has some game
What an asshole.
Have you read Ignatiev’s book? It’s ahistorical nonsense. I’m not disputing Harriot’s article, just the inclusion of this source.
There is a lot of important scholarship on the topic, Ignatiev’s nonsense doesn’t rank among it.
