You don’t really think the bulk of the base will get it do you? They aren’t readers, and don’t have a grasp on complex concepts like these. This will likely kill my grandparents, who voted for Trump, and they will cheer him to their graves. All Trump/Pence/Ryan have to do is say #LyingMedia or #FakeNews and these…
I know this sucks but watching trumps idiot base slowly realize they got fucked will be fun. I have no expectation that a single one of them will ever admit they were wrong but they’ll still get screwed
I live in Texas. I would classify a lot of them as simple-minded sociopaths.
FUCK ALL OF THIS. MORE TRANSPARENCY. CHRIST.
I wonder if thats the case. Who really watches the junk on Velocity. I suspect nobody will watch and the show will just go away. Hopefully in a few years we are celebrating the return of true WD on youtube.
Thirded.
This!
No Edd, no workshop segments, no deal. So long Wheeler Dealers.
It’s not an exaggeration that it’s been the best car show on in the past five years
UGH. God Dammmmiittt! This was such a better show than most purely because of Edd working on the cars. Actually working on cars. Without all that BS drama of every other Velocity show. I will keep an eye out for what Edd does next.
I wouldn’t even say that Mike is that Over the top. He is AMAZINGLY cheerful, but not to optimum twat-waffle levels like some other reality shows. I also liked that Wheeler Dealers was free of a lot of bullshit. No stupid fucking pranks on co-workers or workplace drama I couldn’t give less of a damn about. The…
exactly. there’s no fake drama in the repair process, and Edd typically completes jobs that everyone might come across...stuck sunroof, leaky exhaust, spent ball joints...its definitely the best part of the show. Not everyone is trying to shoe-horn an LS motor into a 911.
Edd China is the backbone of that show. It is a better car show than anything else I’ve seen. So many of the shows skip all the detail of installing parts, and instead become just advertisements for aftermarket parts. They never show the mechanics struggling with a rusted nut, or trying to wiggle a part out from…
I recently discovered it and it is wonderful and a breath of fresh air from the usual car shows. Really, Mr. Torchinsky nails it. Mr China will sit down on the show and go over step by step what is needed to fix a particular piece of a car. This clip is a great example of his work: how to replace the drive motor on an…
That just means you’ve got a delightfully long backlog of enjoyable automotive television at your disposal.
Edd and the workshop were the heart and soul of the show. The Mike bits and what not were just filler. Frustrating that Velocity chose filler over actual substance. This was one of the more informative and technical car shows out there. Sad to see it go.
Basically Velocity wants to remove the entire reason for watching Wheeler Dealers. Sorry to Mike, but aside from the trouble spots he seemed to look for, watching the shopping/haggling/sales process was boring and inconsequential. You knew the car would have problems, you knew he would deal down, and you knew they…
This has been, bar none, the best car show on broadcast TV. From the sounds of it, there is going to be such a format change that it may lose all of its original honest appeal. The other “car” shows on TV are just scripted reality show non-sense. And that’s not just compared to Wheeler Dealers.
Goddammit.
