Me too! Only my dad opted for the gutless diesel wagon version. Great for living around the relatively flat D.C. Metro area, but god forbid you take it to visit relatives in the mountains of VA.

The best trick I’ve used to do this on my 5S 16GB iOS 10.1 is to do a full tethered backup to computer, then erase/reset ‘as new phone’ then restore the backup.

Take it from a surfer in the Caribbean, the baby powder trick has worked for me for years - totally discovered it accidentally. Now it’s a staple in my bag along with very-water resistant Solbar 32 sunscreen (the absolute best imho).
