Scratch that pic from up there, it was a photoshop edit we did on the jeep site to see what they would look like with black pillars. The edit pic didn't stick so here it is.

Yeah, I know, it's a bit far away. But I've always liked that pic and I haven't used it here before - you get a sense of how desolate this particular beach is. It goes on for several miles in each direction. One of my favorites here on the island.

I get what you're saying now. That in the manufacture of these, they must've made the 'crystal' and bezel as just one snap on piece.

It's official.

Crystals in watches usually are sealed and stationary - especially in high end watches. Rotating bezels are rings that snap into a groove that allows them to rotate.

Always loved these.
