That’s the catch with today’s shows. 90s Cheese and cornball writing is “in” right now. Gotham takes it to new lows, but SupesGirl seems to hit that sweet spot between the neverending “nerd-shout outs” tone of Big Bang Theory and the faux reality of something like Arrow.

Because it’s yet another generic show trying to latch onto something.

I turned it on during the Ally/Ally Jr “I know ur supes” scene. I gave it a shot, but oof was it heavy handed.
