DS2 SOTFS is hands down the best game in the series, gameplay matters and SOTFS had the most robust and well thought out gameplay in the series.

SOTFS is criminally bashed and blamed. Dark Souls 1 was an experience. Going back, the game just isn’t nearly as gamer friendly as DS2 is.
