I am fucking pissed off. Would it be so nuts to require the OEMs to stop building new cars until they replace all the airbags? My Audi recently had its first replacement round: Where they replace your defective airbag with a less defective airbag, which will in turn be replaced sometime in the next few years or so.

The Raiders forgot the first step: Hire Tony Dungy to coach up the team, then bring in Gruden to take Dungy’s team to the Super Bowl. Makes all the difference.

100% agree. A total eclipse should have a different name, it is that different from a partial eclipse, even a 99.9% partial eclipse. 2024 can’t come soon enough.

I’m not the first to say this, but indulge me: Russell Wilson is a terrible quarterback who can only do one thing: Win games.

yes, Yes, YES! In all the talk about the “Worst Call in NFL History”, often forgotten was the abysmal clock management. They could have easily run one more play.

Completely agree. Watched a KBO game in Seoul and after one inning I didn’t even notice it. (It even had knots in the netting, heaven forfend.)

It’s very sad, because the NYC Subway went through very similar issues in the 70s and early 80s. Then starting in the mid-80s they began to get their shit together, scrubbing trains of graffiti immediately, getting new cars, etc. By the early 90s the system worked pretty darn well. Those who forget the past are

Goodell could have avoided most of his problems if he delegated some powers to a discipline officer, whose decisions could be reviewed by Goodell. He signs off on the minor or unchallenged discipline, he could always appoint a “blue ribbon” board to “advise” him on the tough ones if he didn’t want to get involved in a

Wait, Putin “very strongly, vehemently says he had nothing to do with them”? Well, that’s good enough for me!

I KNOW WHAT I HAVE HERE!

After seeing the picture of the old Lotus below, almost certainly a gas cap. Tried to delete my comment.

Seriously, could be a logo placeholder, like the BMW X2.

it “put not just Datsun Nissan, but Japanese cars in general, on the map.”

Now playing

It’s not that he’s not different from Vader, but that he doesn’t scare me. I think of Albert Brooks in “Drive”. In appearance, Albert Brooks is about as non-evil looking as you can get (and about as different from Darth Vader as you can get). But he brought a sense of real menace and evil to the role. As you say, we

I am willing to suspend disbelief on everything I’ve seen so far in The Force Awakens and Rogue One...but Adam Driver just is not a convincing villain, at least not in this role. When you see Darth Vader for the first time, or Grand Moff Tarkin, you think...whoa, this guy’s evil. I really wanted to feel the same

I have a 2011. The only things that don’t work are the features Apple deliberately makes inoperable on older models, even though the older machines have more than enough processor power and memory to run those features.

That is ironic, given that FCA’s Uconnect is one of the better infotainment systems out there. Too bad they didn’t put it in the Alfa.

Exactly. Instead the coach invokes the excuse that “he just doesn’t have the talent he needs.”

It’s like all the columns a few years ago about how all the teams passed on Russell Wilson. If almost any other team had gotten him, they’d have ruined him and wasted the pick.

Hey, why wasn’t Darell Bevell mentioned in the article?
