That is a great, great posting indeed.

A very few 964 Turbo cars were made with the old “944 style” [square-ish] pop-up headlights.
I intensely dislike slantnoses. They are OK in the 935, of course, but I see no need to destroy the purity of design of the original 911 by turning it into an Ersatz-935. Without all the other 935 body modifications they look plain silly.
That Mini Pick-up is a bit of a Frankenstein car. No Mini Pick-ups were ever made with wind-up windows/internal hinge doors.
That car is a legitimate BMW Motorsport M535i. It does not have the 24-valve engine from the M1, but that does not make it less of an M-car.
E12 M535i. South African version.
Some Corvairs made the crossing too...
That’s the old “Minisprint” recipe: reduce frontal area to benefit max speed (and economy). Deseaming an ordinary Mini already gives you a top speed around 5 kph higher, so lots of advantages to the concept.
Fair point. But by far most of the time they will be driving on Chilean territory. They may not even go into the bit of Tierra del Fuego administered by Argentina.
Glassfibre Minis were also built in Venezuela until the early 90s.
I suggest you have a look at a map.
British-made glassfibre Mini shells have been around for years. Look up “Mini Minus”.
Perhaps that was because Paganis freak me out,
Wow.
Gee, thanks!
I’m impressed. Denise and Len?
Sorry - in this medium it is sometimes difficult to gauge the difference between humorous and flippant.
No disrespect for our beloved Stef, but I suggest you read a few articles of her (or about her).
