Decades ago I read an article about an old doctor who was absolutely smitten with his blu olandese Giulia saloon. I think the story started with him owning a Giulia GT or GTV and buying the saloon with the idea to drive it into the ground, dismantle it afterward and keep the mechanicals for the two-door.

Much in the same way of the original Mini, the Citroën AX had door pockets specifically designed to hold a bottle of mineral water.
