Doing a little reading on the case, the issue is that Ford had developed a stronger roof....in 2005 and didn’t start producing the trucks with reinforced roofs until 2009-2010. I still fail to understand how Ford is liable for a 2002 not meeting the 2009-2010 standards and not being as strong as the 2005 redesign.
