It was probably easier to push Barris with their new found concerns out as a part of the black purge.  No more Shonda, no more Barris, no more black viewership to be offended by right leaning shows.

Yeah, this is a good chance to think about how superheroes dovetail with the real world and what that means especially for one of NYC’s best.

It definitely doesn’t mean Pete needs to stop being an idealist or that Yuri needs to give an hour long civics lesson. But given the world we live in, I think even comic-book…

Thanks for writing this. It’s not really a perspective I’ve taken the time to consider before. I’ve not really considered how authority is portrayed in our games, really, much less how it’s shifting. Likewise with the general portrayal of those who have been labelled by authority as in violation of the law.

It’s still a fun game.
