It wasn’t as easy to get access to anything when we were younger, so either we saw it with our own two eyes, watched it on tv, or found the info through the careless actions of an adult. Now…

I think the occurrences of it now are specific to this time because of social media. Children dying or committing suicide is nothing new, but the frequency is. That’s where I’m alarmed.

I used to think me trying to commit suicide at 14 was extremely harsh at a young age. At 34, my depression still gives me the ass whooping of a life time but I’ve had time to gain understanding of it.
