That’s the only price they show.  The $45,000 price is no more realistic than the $35,000 model 3 price is.  When you can order it, i’ll believe it.

I don’t know where the $45,000 version is, but the website shows a starting price of $63,000.  Maybe Tesla shouldn’t be that worried.

That’s actually called “fuck me money”.

Maybe Dlu is actually a Kardashian, so everything is literally literal.

This is California, Earth will be swallowed by the sun long before this is complete.

Have you been in a car built in the last 20 years?  The chime will drive you nuts if the belt is not put on.  I can’t imagine that the sign does anything other than  make CalTrans feel like a hero.

This falls into the freeway signs in California that say “Click-it or Ticket”. Is there anybody who drives around with their seat belt off, while somehow ignoring the constant chiming of the car, and sees the sign and says “Oh shit, I should but on my seat belt”.

They are both by A.J. Baime.  Read all four of his books.  They are all really good.

At $55.8k for an ST, you’re better off waiting 2 years then picking one up for $37k.

Obviously the wealthy can absorb a crisis better than the poor. Having said that, I live in a very well to do area of the silicon valley (thank god I bought my house 16 years ago) and I am amazed how many people drive 15 year old Camrys and Accords. It seems that they don’t place the same need for a new car that

Of course they are all beat to shit. You know the old saying: “Drive it like you’re ensuring Leaders and dignitaries are transported properly between events through APEC week”

Or 1 2018 Honda Accord with 55,885,632 HP. Just wait until VTec kicks in!!!!!!!

I don’t understand why making an EV pickup/SUV/crossover is taking so long. The 3 best selling vehicles in the US are all pickups and everyone seems to be dropping passenger cars for crossovers, BUT they are still not producing EVs that the market seems to want. I still think a small, actually tiny, pickup based on

It is going SLOW. My team mates and I have been very slowly working on the car and it is just about done, but with all our kids getting older, as well as us, the motivation seems to be waning. We might just put it up for sale and move on to something less labor intensive. If you are going to autoX it make sure you

Can confirm. We are building one to race in Lemons. Everything we try and fix opens up another problem. And could GM please not use the cheapest way possible on every single component.  At least all 4 corners are the same for the brakes.

I just let them in because I figure they have the worst curse imaginable of living with themselves.

So long as you don’t work for them...

Now playing

I don’t know how much Obama’s fuel rules make a difference to China, Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Korea, Norway, Germany, France, England, Japan, or India.

I own a 2008 Sequoia, and they are still using the same dash layout and knobs in the 2020 model?  Did Toyota get bought by GM?

Your statement flies in the face of what Audi, Volvo, Lincoln, Mercedes, VW, Aston Martin, Cadillac, and Tesla are doing.  If nobody wants EVs then there is going to be a lot of companies heading in the wrong direction.
