I didn’t mean to write typically, it was supposed to be occasionally.  You’re right, most rich people live out fine lives, just know that they sometimes have burdens that are just as bad while being different.  Besides, when was the fact that a rich person, or legacy racer, got a ride any sort of news.  Race car

This typically doesn’t end well. I would put up a list but it would be very long. Well, OK, here is a partial.

Elon just needs to say that the $35,000 figure was in 2016 money, and with inflation it’s now $38,000.

Exactly this. I’m sure the CEO is more concerned with keeping 165,000 people employed than the 15% that are now expendable. I’m sure there are bean counters that are keeping a close eye on balance sheets as not to get stuck like in 2009.

Are we just going to gloss over the fact that he ran a race with a binary throttle? That’s INSANE. I did that with a POS dune buggy (with 10% of the HP to this race car) in Santa Cruz in the 80's and that’s the hairiest driving thing I’ve ever done by a wide margin.

Hmmmm, I think maybe GM sees a coming car loan meltdown.  They want to be ahead of this unlike in 2008 mortgage meltdown.

That’s Cadillac’s thing.  The Escalade ESV where ESV stands for Escalade Stretch Vehicle.  So it’s the Escalade Escalade Stretch Vehicle.

OR, put a small pickup body on it. I know it sounds crazy when pickups don’t sell that well (They do). Why every EV and true hybrid is basically the same style is baffling.

Please tell me you got to call your ex-wife “Wench” all the time. That’s about the only redeeming thing about being around the SCA crowd. My neighbor is a Civil War actor, man do I hate talking with him.

My good friend ran the mortgage business for Wells in Northern Ca and Northern Nevada in the late 90's. His running joke about senior management was this.

I agree. I have read several articles stating that people don’t really want autonomous cars. Why is everybody going hog wild trying to make them?

The headline should read:

T. Boone Pickens has, had, a plan.

Does this make the stock more attractive to David Tracy?

I know your pain. I had a grinding wheel explode and mostly take off my right index finger. When the doctor in SF, who is world famous for limb reattachment, looked at the X-ray he said “Oh, wow”. That’s not a great feeling. You’ve got a lot of rehab in front of you, but stick with it.

timeless looks exude sophistication like no toy-like Wrangler or boxy Cherokee ever could.:”

In the case of Tom’s suggestion, I don’t think its a good idea.  Going from a Toyota to an FCA vehicle.  How will he sleep at night.

Self driving cars in San Francisco. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Good luck. They need to start programming the cars to recognize discarded needles and human feces.
