Great stuff. I love the MR2 story - the AW11 was VERY picky about torque spec. From the Holy Book of AW11:

It’s like watching people play Gran Turismo for the first time.
I live on the border in Minnesota and drive mostly in North Dakota.
I’m not a statistician or actuary or math genius, but the results seem skewed to me. The only metrics were driving related deaths, speed related deaths, and arrests for drunk driving. There are so many problems with using this as the entire basis, I almost don’t even know where to begin.
NJ drivers are fine if every other car on the road is also a Jersey driver.
all Subaru owners and old Honda owners and American muscle owners are douches. except the ones I personally know, they're cool.
Plymouth Prowler. This thing was a new age hot rod out of the factory, except for the fact that it was sold with an anemic v6 and a horrible 6 speed auto. Looks that were never met with appreciable performance, swap in an LSX with 6 speed manual and you have a real winner here. Talk about a missed opportunity.
Take a guess what I saw today? That’s right, a pearl Yellow Murcielago :)
I will say this, if a DCT reaches 9 speeds then I might never bother shfiting it in manual mode because my brain is pretty hardwired to think in terms of shifting 5 or 6 forward gears and in this case I’ll probably keep forgetting the top 3 gears constantly. Also all the tight spacing means a lot of wasted time…
We're eager to test this stuff out
