I disagree. I had a buddy that would powerslide all day long with this car, and it sounded and felt great. It did ride rough for a bigger car, but overall it was a decent effort that didn’t excel it any one area, but the package worked.
The clean design will prevail over time, and the engine was fabulous. Some get it some don’t until later.
They were actually pretty damned cool. The Buick Riviera from the same era is definitely a future classic.

The only thing that comes to mind is the very sorry gas mileage. Even with low gas prices, 19 mpg combined is rather pathetic and very suv like.
