No car is ever going to be perfect. Someone is always going to complain about something. I’m just happy this thing exists, coupe + RWD +manual, rare breed these are nowadays.

It’s a Lotus-inspired addition of lightening.

The other issue is the fact that the springs are just too damn stiff, meant for a later-model Cherokee (which was A LITTLE heavier) with a winch and steel bumper. My lightweight 1992 with its stock thin sheet metal bumper and lack of winch can barely even compress those coil springs up front...”

Sometimes less is more.

The Ridgeline’s problem is price. It’s a pretty good vehicle, but I could buy an F-150 with comparable options and way more capacity for around the same price. It just doesn’t make a lot of sense. I think this and the Ford are both supposed to be priced more aggressively than the Honda.

Pickup Crossover does seem like the endgame of America’s current car buying trends.

I feel it’s at the point where his brand and influence has peaked (at least at the moment) and cashing in on the RS200 now is so he can maximize the return. He may love it, but maybe he also sees the lucrative nature his name brings.

I’m guessing we won’t see that RS200 again, at least not for a long time. That one will be tucked away into a climate controlled barn with all the other cool homologation specials.

Dropping the branded Fiestas make sense now that he’s not with Ford anymore, but I’m honestly really surprised that he’s selling his ‘favorite car of all time’. I’ve always really liked the RS200, I figured he would want to hang onto that one.

That’s why I bought my Schwinn IZip about 12 years ago. The office I worked in part time was about 8 Km away and there were a few long hills en route - riding my Raleigh Century meant arriving all sweated up so I didn’t ride. With the IZip I rode a lot and pedalled MOST of the way - and Wed noons I rode it another

Yes, although new studies are showing folks who ride ebikes are getting roughly similar amounts of exercise because they ride further and more frequently than their analog counterparts.

Still not sure I see the need for this vs. a regular bike though.”

Man, the bank REALLY doesn’t wanna give Falcon a loan.

It honestly doesn’t look awful, but the boring LS swap is a no-go for me. There’s nothing that makes this stand out from your typical Factory Five GTM or a Mosler MT900.

Shouldn’t the interior be less minimalistic and more customizable to suit the owner’s interests since they’ll be focused more on comfort than on driving?

I like that they admit the Model 3's interior is shit to use specifically because you weren’t meant to actually drive the car. Considering how far away Level 5 autonomy is, that goes beyond “putting the cart before the horse.” The horse hasn’t even been born yet.

They are getting a bunch of baloney, though.

No, because I don’t think the Tesla buyers got any cheese sandwiches.

Is there anyone else who gets a “Fyre Festival” vibe from all the hype surrounding “Full Self Driving”?

The whole concept that FSD is cheaper now if you pre-order it than it will be as the technology matures is bonkers. No other technology follows that path. Technology gets cheaper as it matures.
