It has been a lot of years since we crashed anything. At least we put it out in the open and own up to it instead of covering it up and pretending it didn’t happen.

It’s like you write for Jalopnik or something...

How much glare will that screen cause? Already blinded by gaudy chrome-like inserts reflecting sunlight during long roadtrips, now a whole screen doing that?

I see we’ve hit the purest form of “Hyundai is ripping someone off” posts - not even being able to name who they’re supposedly knocking off.

That one threw me off. The whole GT350R package just screams “track monster”, not something you’d want to take to the drag strip. Just the fact that it’s a flat-plane crank V8 should tell you all you need to know about the intended purpose.

After all these years Infiniti’s new nomenclature is still totally F’d, non-car people I talked to are still more familiar with their old nomenclature, eg. my wife.

I disagree. Before de Nysschen came in and unilaterally determined that the brand only needed a new naming nomenclature rather than investment in new vehicles, Infiniti was essentially a Japanese BMW to Lexus’ Japanese MB. The original G35 was rated by more than car rag at the time as the best alternative to the

Yeah, i read that and kept thinking, the stick axle high power car is the drag car, the irs high rev car is the track slut... c’mon.

Thank you for your service.

186.3 miles per milisecond. It’s not just a suggestion, its the Law.

How true. It doesn’t matter how fast the state will let you drive if there is some jackass doing 50 in the passing lane.

Speed limits are fine in most cases. Whats sorely lacking is enforcement and education about passing lanes. Until that’s fixed it doesn’t matter how much you raise the limits, I’ll still be stuck flashing my high beams at some idiot doing 50 in the passing lane on I-95 who moved to that lane position immediately after

As a Montanan,

He was trying to say he was too important to let some stupid speeding ticket interfere with giving Mrs. Jones some botox. It was a power play. I hope he gets his drivers license AND his medical license suspended for a while for that stunt.  He seems too reckless for either.

One of the side effects of costco having dramatically higher minimum wages is getting people to genuinely care (or at least more lol).

The attendant at a Costco told me about the filter thing. It was a new Costco and he seemed pretty proud of his job, which is unusual for a gas station attendant but hey there’s absolutely nothin’ wrong with giving a shit about your work. Anyway he was talking about how he goes around once an hour and checks all the

Did everone really decide getting into and out of non-SUVs is hard? I’m genuinely asking.

So, why aren’t people buying these? Honestly, because people are dummies still smitten with crossovers and SUVs, for some reason. I don’t get it. You wouldn’t really be giving up anything with an Arteon over an SUV you weren’t planning to off-road (and, let’s be honest, most buyers won’t even drive over a curb).

Counterpoint: $46k is way too much for a VW with 268hp.

The National Park idea is solid. I can hear the ad copy now:
