So.... it acts like a manual?

Yeah, I can respect what you’re saying, it’s just not something I can ever see my self appreciating.

That’s not who they are. C’mon man, swingannamiss x2.

Plus, going over the grapevine is super fun, at least if you’re in the right vehicle.

Urm... where did I give advice in that post?

Man... fuck flying. The conspiracy nut in me is convinced THEY’re trying to make it as absolutely inconvenient as possible so that people stop moving around so much, but I don’t care. They win. I’d rather drive for eight hours than deal with all the bullshit involved with flying. And that’s as someone with pretty much

I don’t think concours are like museums because they’re not a curated collection. They’re not an ongoing display. Museums don’t have trophies awarded for people who bring in rarer, more original pieces. Museums don’t have owners of pieces trying to take credit as if they’re the creator of the piece.

I’m perfectly content to be a hater of that aspect of car culture. I refute your idea it’s like a museum; car museums already exist (and I’m no fan of those, either).

The most perfect car in the world isn’t one you’re not allowed to drive. Concours is the worst of the worst for car culture.

Which is why it suuuuucks.

I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who drove a bro-dozer who was both friendly and intelligent.

I like the i3. I wish a lot more cars did the opening panels the way this, the RX8, and whatever that one Saturn was have done it. I like the size of its footprint. It’s eleventy-billion times better looking than a Smart or Scion iQ.

I think it’s biggest failing is that the core group of people who would want this,

It’s not like Toyota is incapable of making some excitement. The Corolla and Matrix XRS are perfect examples of something Toyota could do right now with the Camry. Just give it a little hotter motor (It’s not like their current DOHC V6s are slouches, though a turbo-4 would be a mo’betta option), a 6-speed or :gasp:

* Is it really worth bringing back the Viper straight out of the gate? Does FCA really have the resources to make a proper modern Viper? Is a one-off Viper engine justifiable anymore?
* Is hybridization or electrification a possible route? How much money would have to be tied up in R&D and/or licensing to even just

So, semi-serious question: Just what exactly WOULD you do if you were suddenly in charge of FCA? I mean realistically, to actually turn it around and start making money rather than just shoving Hellcat engines in everything.

Where did you pick up the habit of saying “emm pee ayche” instead of just “milez-eh’nour”?

I don’t think you’re gonna find the 1.0L Ecoboost in his price range, though. They’re just too new.

I can’t wait to be Emperor of the Known Universe(tm) so I can have the authority to slap the shit out of the idiots responsible for coming up with and executing this level of badging dumbassery. Alphanumeric car names should be an objective descriptor of the actual car and not use some made bullshit “correlation to

Jesus, man, what did your arteries ever do to you?
