This show is amazing. The characters are fantastically fleshed out, there’s some great character growth and development, and it’s amazingly well voiced.

Hot Take:

I’m actually working on a few Game Gear recaps for a local retro shop. Great way to cut down on battery consumption is to add in an LED backlight, and remove the CFL. It’s a pain in the ass mod, but it bumped the battery life from about 5 hours on my OG Game Gear, to well over 15.

Still open for additional refinement, but that seems reasonable enough.

VEEEEEEERY nice!! I did the swap while the system was still under the additional store warranty, so, picked up another joy-con expressly to re-shell. I actually like the mish-mash colors. Very Random Lego Pieces -esque.

Oh man the BASSTOP’s are amazing. I found them to be an intermediate job, but I also run a sideline adding backlights and such to OG Gameboys, and re-capping Game Gears so they work again....
