@FlawedHero: It's a hybrid which means you can plug it in if you wanted to. Also, the buttons in the middle wouldn't actually be touching you OR they're recessed into the mouse a bit so you don't notice them. I have the earlier mouse with the DPI buttons in the same place and can't even feel them.
