You mean you’re not excited about pot boy? How could you!

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

I like how they seemed to have retooled the focus pulse to speedily show you markers. If I had one criticism of HZD, it was that using focus slowed you down immensely. Really took me out of the flow of the game.

Honestly, still better than 90% of the shovelware plastering the eShop.

One of the most irritating ways of signalling low health is in the (universally acclaimed) Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask: the beeping when you only have 1 or 2 hearts left.

I agree. I was one of the ones last Friday who was (relatively) eagerly awaiting the release. I’ve not played PoE in a while and am a casual player at best (only ever got up to Act 5, which is around halfway through the game, because I like to keep restarting and trying new character types and builds). It was my first

I used to work as a customer rep for another big Canadian power firm (Toronto Hydro). Such a stressful job. A lot of folks genuinely think they understand electricity billing better than the electricity company themselves...

Just give me a second to dig out my old red/green 3D glasses for that Hulk pic...

“When reached for comment about when wide, regular availability for the PS5 might happen—at least in the company’s estimation—a Sony representative said they would look into the question.”

I had hoped this would be the case too - capture a monster once, and then be able to use it indefinitely until you released it to replace it with a different monster. Would have made the beastmaster quite useful as a healer, for example. I never levelled the beastmaster up fully, so perhaps the 30% capture rate

I’ve been looking forward to BDII ever since they announced it. Can’t wait for next week. I rarely get games on Switch - mainly because they’re never discounted... - but this one I’ve specifically set aside money for. Loved the demo, loved the difficulty. I just wish that abilities by the shieldmaster that draws aggro

Came here to say this. They’re both archaic words, pretty uncommon but they’re not being made up on the spot for the sake of sounding “olde worlde”.

What would be good is if those WSB redditors, instead of buying and holding GME stock, were to play the scalpers at their own game (for the short term at least).

My parents hated that I liked video games.

I feel the same way. I try to make one quality application (well-researched, appropriate cover letter and modified CV) a day in my field of work (STEM/biotech), and try to network at times via LinkedIn. Takes me a couple of hours in the morning. Doesn’t sound like much, does it? It’s because companies are cutting

I feel this is an excellent point for those getting into the Witcher 3. The first area (White Orchard) acts as an expanded tutorial hub that you need to complete to get to the main meat of the game (Velen and later the Skellige Islands). The controls are a bit odd.

I agree. From wikipedia about caveat emptor: “defects in the good or service may be hidden from the buyer, and only known to the seller.” It is up to the buyer to ascertain the nature of the goods. CDPR definitely knew their product was faulty on base PS4/XBox One consoles.

I’m not surprised. When Sony has received its pound of flesh, it doesn’t relinquish it. How on earth would you define “faulty content” anyway?

Yup, same here. Been stoked for the game but my toaster of a laptop won’t be able to run it, and my base PS4 is clearly not up for the challenge.

Man this soundtrack takes me back. I listened to Amon Tobin’s work pretty much on repeat (mainly Out From Out Where) when I was studying for my A-level exams in 2005. And the Chaos Theory soundtrack was one of the first video game soundtracks I ever bought on CD, it was just so brilliant.
