I think adding some crab meat and perhaps a splash of Clamato could kick this up a notch.

Rand could easily be someone like Ryan Reynolds - generically good-looking but with a lot of goofy, comedic charm.

The Invid Invasion storyline would also make a great one- or two-season show. It'd have to be gritty as fuck, but there's potential.

I grew up on the Gulf Coast of Texas eating traditional Chinese food. Aside from stuff that was too spicy and a very small list of other foods (like maybe 5 things my mom didn't make anyway), I ate everything that was asked of me.

I remember watching Do You Remember Love and thinking it was all right, but other people later pointed out to me how many holes I didn't notice because I knew the Macross story already.

Esp. if there was significant focus on the Lynn Kyle/Ike Turner parallel.

Won't work as a movie. Just won't. Macross is too big of a narrative to fit into 120 minutes. The Macross succeeded (and later Robotech) by being a soap opera with great mecha and character designs, with J-Pop and a J-Idol thrown in.

One of the benefits of my move back to Asia is the proliferation of stinky, oily fish. I just had some mackerel pike that would have stunk up the house for a week if I'd made the mistake of cooking it indoors (again).

I'm just hoping that Professor Jeff Friedl gives a demonstration of The Scorpion System at a future East Coast show.

Jesus, can't a tai chi "grandmaster" get a name check?

Since I crush on unattainable lesbians, boo Sue Perkins leaving.

Here's my wishlist -

Oh hell yeah they were. I'm only sad because being on the East Coast, we seem to miss the special guest appearances (like Sexy Sax Man). I managed to score VIP tix for the last show I saw, and it was awesome being on stage during the lucha segment.

I only started doing the "multiple shows per tour" thing fairly recently. The acts I've seen the most, estimating, are:

Abso-fucking-lutely.

Being a fan of the Ann Nocenti's "Typhoid" limited run, I'm actually excited about this. This is the first thing that actually has me legit looking forward to a Marvel show

YAAAAASSSSS

I'd watch this. I'd watch this SO HARD.

I think such people don't spend a lot of time cooking.

I like the recipe, but why is it surprising that there are only 5 ingredients?
