Those moments that actually break Conan are the best. He and Bill Hader are delightful to watch when they can't hold in the laughter.
That's just to get Conan's creep factor up. I think they are casual friends IRL; certainly enough that she doesn't seem to mind Conan going ultra-perv on her on-camera.
Conan + Tim + Andy = the best, unscripted, friends-fucking-around late-night TV of all time.
This is the third time Michelle McNamara's death has made me tear up. God, Patton Oswalt clearly loves her.
Oh man, if Cody had died on his way back to his home planet, that would have been an awesome twist.
I only remember (and watched) Step By Step because I had a huge crush on Staci Keanan stemming from My Two Dads, whose career kind of fizzled out when the former ended. It's a shame - she was a really charismatic young woman whose talent wasn't served well by the role of Dana Foster.
You're thinking of Kaitlyn Dever, who is really good in everything. She had a small but excellent performance in Laggies, as well.
I'll give a like to any comment that invokes The Critic - my favorite TV show of that time period (I liked it more than even the Simpsons, then still in the "Golden Age" period where they could do no wrong).
Why has time forsaken Home Improvement? Because it wasn't that fun or interesting of a show to begin with. But more importantly, I don't think moms and kids took to it the way that suburban dads did, and too many dad-centric sitcoms have come and gone for it to really succeeded beyond a certain point in syndication.
Gretchen should be writing self-help books. Where all of what ails you can be cured with BJs. That's good doctorin'.
You're thinking of "Blind Willie."
Comacho at least had the good sense to put the smartest person available on the job and held him accountable for the outcome.
I'll be in my bunk. My soy-sauce-stained, cracker-covered, condiments-in-the-footlocker bunk.
"Queen of the harpies" is not exactly a reference to WAOVW. It's not quoting or aping a line directly, to my (admittedly fallible) memory. It's a reference in spirit only, so you can still chalk it up as a Simpsons original.
Holy fuck, it's like they're writing TV just for me. Mary Elizabeth Winstead is an amazing talent, and I'm super-stoked now for Fargo Season 3.
I totally second, third, and fourth Crimson Peak, The Grey, and Hail, Caesar! I liked them all - but the disconnect between the advertising and actual movies films delivered was really jarring.
Zustified is the greatest workout idea ever! Holy shit - I would totally get so fucking CUT if I was working out like five hours a day while Raylan shoots some assholes and Boyd's teeth shine like the greatest hillbilly lighthouse in history.
There's a little drug store across the street from my studio. Every day, I have to resist the urge to walk there, plunk down ONE AMERICAN DOLLAR, and snarf a bag of pork rinds.
