Two very overlooked books:

I'm going to give Girl On The Shore a try, even though I didn't really like What A Wonderful World.

As much as I like the Coen Brothers' output and Hail, Caesar! in particular, I wouldn't consider it one of the year's best movies, period. It's fun and engaging, but it's one of their fluffier, more disposable pieces.

According to the press information, T2 will be loosely based on Porno.

I know that the lead photo is clearly caught in mid-move, but it looks like Rihanna's singing from her crotch.

Fingers crossed Diane is in this. I agree with Boyle that Porno wasn't as great a book as Trainspotting - but it was still a good read, and I felt that it presented a legitimate scenario for the characters years down the road. I especially liked Diane's overall arc.

T2? Really? That's the best title you could come up with, Marketing Department? Sheesh.

My thoughts exactly.

Hikaru Sulu, of course. Duh.

In a practice that seems to date back to the mid-90's, trailers are cut before the films themselves are anywhere near a final edit. The studios provide the trailer companies footage to use, and a lot of times, the footage that's provided is from dailies long before any editing process. That's why a lot of moments

There's definitely an added layer of humor for the fans. For example - the whole thing about "Pat Stone" already comes with a history.

I love the show with a passion but agree that Wheels On Fire is a terrible fucking song.

I'm a fan from the original US airings back in the early 90s, and I've often wondered why the gay community embraced the show so fervently. Care to shed some light? I'm a cis-gender straight dude (who has the occasional steamy dream about Jeremy Irons), and I didn't have any openly gay friends at the time, so I've

I caught this today, wearing a knockoff Vivienne Westwood pendant, and AbFab The Movie is definitely one for the fans.

Chiang was a deciding factor for me as well. I was like, "Brian K. Vaughn is pretty good usually, but…" and then I saw that Chiang was illustrating and I was all like "SIGN ME UP RIGHT NOW." And then Comixology had their sale and Vol 1 was only $5 and I was like, "I'D BE SUPER STUPID NOT TO." So I did, and I'm

OH HELL YEAH

Not taking sides in the Rucka/Cho fight, but I'm glad the discussion is happening (well, as much as it can happen with Cho quitting).

I came.

No love for Mark McKinney as the Kids In The Hall's Satan? The one who challenges teenagers to rock-offs, watches "The Pit Of Ultimate Darkness" (and thereby clearly supports local access cable), and inspires shoe salesmen?

Agree 100%. It's a fun flick that actually holds up to repeat viewings.
