The line of the night: "Jesus, Boyd - I was just sayin' hello."

RIP Dewey Crowe - the little idjit that simply couldn't. Gonna miss Damon Herriman's earnest and oddly warm portrayal of the dumbest criminal to ever grace an Elmore Leonard narrative.

Both Machete Kills and Sin City 2 suffered from terminal lack of reigning in and too much self-awareness. It's as if Rodriguez threw away any semblance of self-restraint and just made these sprawling pieces of cinema. Both were fun (I made trips to the theater for both) if you like the originals, but they could have

I don't want to live in a world where "Justified: The Final Season" isn't everyone's answer.

"Rambo-ning" = lulz

Why the fuck is Sony caving on this? Holy shit, this NORTH KOREA we're talking about. The shit that Neolithic backwater tries and fails make the CIA's attempts to assassinate Castro assassination look like Mission Fucking Impossible by comparison.

I was sorely disappointed to find out that this was NOT a sequel to Jay Sherman's smash Broadway hit, "Beauty and King Dork."

I've listened to PHC on and off since my early 20's, and my opinion is that if it were half as long, it'd be a consistently enjoyable show. Even though I grew up in the South, I find a lot of the small-town antics highly relatable and pretty amusing.

For me, it was just TOO camp for something already over-the-top Kinda like, "Do you want fries with that double-fister mushroom-and-bacon five-cheese He-Man burger…or do you want CHILI CHEESE FRIES?"

I freakin' love this comic. I've seen the doomed pilot, and while it got a few things right, it got so much more wrong.

Event Horizon. Was absolutely loving the hell outta this pulpy mish-mash of Alien and House on Haunted Hill, until Sam Neill makes the big reveal about where the Event Horizon had disappeared to: "A dimension of PURE EVIL."

That's because hookers aren't people. Haven't TV and movies taught you that yet?

For about 10 seconds, I thought the jazzy piece was going to be the montage music for the week. Too bad it wasn't.

I fangasmed for the same reason. Then my girlfriend yelled at me for getting the mattress all sticky.

I will watch anything directed by Park Chan-Wook. Everyone jerks off over OldBoy (including myself, as it is a great fucking movie), but his other output has also been spectacular. Lady Vengeance, Thirst, and Stoker are all on my regular circulation of movies I watch when I want solid cinema.

Numbers include:

JOCO's "Foundation: The Musical" <—- I'd watch the shit outta that

The Phantom Menace also had terrible racist overtones going for it, too. ;)

Been looking forward to seeing Interstellar for the spectacle. Now I know I have awkward dialogue to look forward to! :)

I love the BBC adaptation. It's like Shakespeare meets classic Doctor Who, with those great campy sound effects from analog synths. So entertaining!
