This is awful to hear, but glad that she seems to have coped well. I am a big fans of hers even if Veronica’s storyline last season on Riverdale was ridiculous and self-defeating even by the show’s usual standards 

They can definitely afford food, they just don’t want to get it because they don’t care about the people... They’d rather spend the money on old Russian weapons and planes nobody needs.
