I think the most powerful indictment I can muster against the Christian Right is that the more power they acquire, the more sincerely I wish that this country followed Jesus’ teachings. Also, I have always been stymied by the term “vape liquid”. Putting liquid in your lungs is not ideal. We go out of our way to avoid it normally. 

Yeah, for comparison’s sake, here are the youth smoking numbers up until Juul became popular and sent it back upward again. If you went to high school in the ‘90s or ‘00s, you probably have an unrealistic conception of how many high schoolers smoke cigarettes these days. It had fallen off a ton.

Vaping uses higher levels of nicotine than in a normal cigarette. It’s easier to use it more frequently and every time they do because they are now HIGHLY ADDICTED TO NICOTINE, they are aspirating oils. I can’t believe nobody thought this would be an issue sooner. I’m sorry about your friend, I hope for his recovery! 

So, you believe whatever legal ingredients are in your vape are welcomed into your lungs? Your lungs are unharmed and getting better than what they would be  (not in comparison to effects of smoking)?

Tell that to my friend’s fiancee and his family....he is sitting in the hospital right this very second with a lung infection that won’t go away and is resisting all forms of antibiotic. He didn’t vape any blackmarket THC. He has been vaping, normally and legally for about 2 years.

It’s disheartening and terrifying but I’m pretty sure that W’s use of the ‘beer with him’ line actually worked brilliantly against Gore. I had many an argument with people who were basically saying that they didn’t want a smart president because they couldn’t relate to him.
