This is a bad thing right? I mean, it has to be a bad thing. If developers are going under because of the recession and WoW is remaining as strong as ever, it has to create a mentality of 'why-bother' in the gaming industry.

From what I've seen of it already, I'll be giving this one a miss. There are already plenty of repetitive shooters on the market, and I can get my nostalgia elsewhere.

@Grooveraider: I played the one for the Genesis, and other than being inane to the franchise, it was a pretty typical side-scroller of the generation. Typical, or average, which is to suggest I have the same expectations for this game, another average shooter.
