I liked Robinson's run on Cable. Probably the first time the character was worth a damn. Also, Ladronn's artwork was a revelation at the time. Pity he couldn't keep up a regular schedule.

The Final Cut was apparently a Waters solo album for all intents and purposes; Gilmour had huge problems with it, saying that most of the songs were stuff that got cut from The Wall for not being good enough and phoned it in.
The Martin-era albums definitely had that 80s production sheen but weren't all bad. Headless Cross has some good tracks on it, in particular. "When Death Calls" is pretty cool.
