America is fucking broken. We can’t even afford to feed our children, but all the Republicans are concerned with is making abortion illegal and spending billions on a worthless wall.

I want to know EXACTLY what Pence does that is christian. Like can I see a list of all the ways he’s living according to what Jesus said? And can we compare that with a list of all the times he’s done the exact opposite of Jesus’s teachings? 

I keep asking this, but is this the way they want to go out? I mean, it’s a rhetorical question, of course, but it blows my mind that they want to be this destructive and self-destructive.

I lived through a DV situation and was in the public eye. I could have spoken out about it and was pushed to do so by reporters. I couldn’t do it. What is even sadder, even with getting the truth out there. No matter the evidence, there is still no justice. This system was not designed for us to prosper. 

There’s no reason to be surprised that cops lie anymore. They lied 50 years ago when there were no cell phones, and they lie now (and still get away with it) when there are cell phones. There is no justice in this country. Cops rape, murder, and brutalize the public, and all that happens is they get a paid vacation…

If this is how they acted when she was calm, they definitely murdered her. Considering she died from hanging, they lynched her.

I hope there’s a means to convict him and if not, I honestly hope vigilante justice gets him. Law enforcement or not, that’s what the killing of unarmed people is.

I’m not going to deny that this was a snarky piece, but the larger point is that Buttigieg’s actual policy positions have consistently taken a backseat to a more popular media narrative about him being a smart and nice man.

If there was any justice in electoral politics Elizabeth Warren would be leading the pack. Too bad she let the devil/Trump get under her skin with his “pocahantas” slur. At this moment, I am very very impressed - she knows her stuff.

Most European countries have 4-5 weeks paid vacation as a starting point, in addition to many more national holidays.  The US vacation scheme is a garbage pail.
