Ah, dang. I miss Disqus.
Ah, dang. I miss Disqus.
I’ll bite; before the Kinjageddon, some of the regular threads doubled as daily “open” threads, where folks could discuss topics outside of the sphere of pop culture. People would talk about what was going on in their lives, current events and other miscellany. One mainstay of these was, of course, politics.
Relic from the Disqus days, when there were tons of ‘Daily Threads’ under WOT, with a lot more discussion than here since the Kinjapocalypse.
Television actors work on a contract. It’s up to the show to let him out of it or alter its terms.
First of all, I appreciate you writing these, day after day. It must be taxing on the old sanity.
Yeah, I don’t think an apology was necessary or needed, just a clarification and explanation even if it was to be just in his own best interest to do so. I’ve also lately been trying to hedge my bets when it comes to communications (being told I can come across as mean to friends IRL when I’m not trying to be was a…
I think it was Jaden Smith-esque food for thought. It doesn’t matter what you see, it just matters that you are seeing.
Tom Brokaw was tragically eaten by wolves today.
It’s going to end up that the most trusted man in the NBC News organization will be Brian Williams.
Oh, I just figured it was the law that Australian theaters had to show previews for the latest Toni Colette film before all of their screenings.

Yep, because he definitely didn’t torture all of his characters, just the female ones. Oh wait, that’s actually incorrect. Every character on Buffy and Angel, male or female, was broken at one time or another. If his work really were as sexist as you and Cracked making it out to me, I doubt people would have made that…
Rand Paul is and has always has been a phony.
None of the MCU’s stars were A list before they got movies, and let’s just take a moment to remember the deep cut that was Guardians of the Galaxy.
Wish the article had the therapist’s rebuttal, because it is also very good, and shows that the show doesn’t just suck Rick’s nihilist dick all the time:
On the one hand, it seems like Pruitt has outdone Price in terms of the scale of corruption, and Price got canned for what he did. On the other hand, Price wasn’t successful with his task of destroying Obamacare, while Pruitt is doing quite well with his task of destroying the environment.
First I’m hearing about this (here, of all places), but does this mean Pruitt broke state, not federal laws?
I disagree.
Really hit its stride when Ros and Christine showed up (seasons 3-4 and on).
I’d be more worried about John Astin.
