I don’t see that as trolling, just having a different viewpoint. When I was in high school and college, I was a neocon. I could bore you to tears by explaining the psychological reasons and philosophical justifications I had for that. As a good academic debater, I knew the arguments from both sides.

Politics Corner watched the Oscar-nominated documentary RBG today, and felt like that was a better topic than dissecting the minutia of the daily fight over the non-emergency. I knew Ginsburg was a vitally important figure in the fight for gender equality before she was on the Supreme Court, but I didn’t know the

Rick is a charismatic, occasionally sympathetic villainous protagonist on a show that is still excellent despite the small, loud minority of fans that totally miss the point. He is a good template for a Loki series, that will inevitably attract the same assholes who think Walter White would have been so much better if

Compared to the first 4, fine, the last two are skippable. But I still really enjoyed them.

On the one hand, Frank Herbert died 33 years ago, while I was in diapers. On the other hand, shut up!

Politics Corner - Riddle Edition. When is a ‘national emergency’ not a national emergency? When it is by any objective standard not a national emergency! Illegal border crossings are down by 75% since W Bush (Thanks, Obama!), every reputable study shows immigrants including undocumented commit crimes at a

Keep reading. Those are big spoilers, but it’s a hell of a ride. (Stop reading after Frank Herbert dies - there are only 6 real Dune books.)

Don Draper impression - “That’s what the movies are for!” Or, if you’re not that patient, the books. And if that is too much, plot summaries on wikipedia.

‘Momoa is in talks to play Duncan Idaho, a character who barely registers in the original Dune, but who becomes improbably, insanely important in the later books.’ And etc.

He’s gonna be pissed.

Well then, I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for the heads up.

I only watched the first two seasons of New Girl for no particular reason beyond it fell out of my rotation. I didn't recognize her from the picture, but yes, she's great. All of these people are great. I'm still not paying for youtube.

I have most basic subscription Hulu, Netflix, and HBO. I also have Amazon Prime, but I don’t count that. It's mostly for buying stuff, but occasionally there's a really good show or movie as a bonus.

Love for Barrett (Better off Ted and I even started watching Timeless in part because he was on it.) And I bet Hannah Simone is also great. I want to watch this show. Just not enough to pay for another streaming service.

Hey, I really like Gillian Jacobs, Steven Yeun, and Jordan Peele! Is this on one of the 3 streaming services I already pay for that provide me with more interesting content than I can consume? No? Too bad.

Politics Corner - Trump won! Dems caved! Oh, those cowardly Dems gave handsome, stable genius Trump a bill for him to sign with his big strong hands to build 55 miles of fencing, which was even more than he was asking for, from a patriot’s perspective. Every GOP leader is saying so, and I agree. As a further victory,

Your calculations are wrong, because humor is subjective. I think Bob’s Burgers is one of the funniest shows currently in production, and enough people agree with me to justify its renewal.

I’m not saying he’s British, he’s lived in Atlanta since he was 12. I am sympathetic to the argument that he’s an undocumented American who deserves to stay here. But people are saying it undercuts his Atlanta cred.

I usually leave your trolling gray (thanks for reading and responding every night), but watching a guy named ‘MoreLikeLOLocaust’ contort himself into defending AIPAC’s honor is just too perfect. Half the guys with swastikas who chanted “Jews will not replace us” are now offended on behalf of the lobby AIPAC. Did you

Is this the first time a rapper has ever been arrested and LOST street cred?
