The entire premise of profiting on someone else’s pain is fucking absurd.

What boggles my mind is they decry socialised healthcare as the devil but happy to pay ridiculous premiums for a policy that may payout or not but either way has an out of pocket, etc...

Canadian here.

The behind the scenes insurance fuckery should be completely invisible to the person needing emergency care at the time they are receiving care.  The system sucks.

The people who would want this vehicle would want it with 4WD, in which case it might arguably be NP as a winter beater. In 2WD there’s simply no use case for this.

We owned a Dodge truck in this color and trim level for years. Bought it at government auction with 97K miles for $690. THAT was a nice price. This one, not so much.

The Museum of Meh. Other exhibits include DiGiorno pizza and the Carter Administration.

This seller definitely knows what he has. Its in Museum Condition”.

I really don’t know why I visit this site anymore, just to drive up engagement by commenting on shitty articles like this. I’ve become part of the problem. Later, bitches!

Literally SECONDS of Googling tells you what the thing is and what it does:

  1. Without pushing the brake pedal, push the ENGINE START/STOP button and cycle the ignition to ON/RUN position (do not start the engine).

The PHEV version is especially interesting as it appears it will be eligible for the $7500 tax credit.

I remember back in 08-09 these things were going through the auctions and no one from used dealers would bid on them. I could have got one for like $5000 back then.

Before I clicked through to the article with bigger pictures and a bit of description, I was thinking, “Seems like a fair price, but I’d have to do research.”
