So ASS doesn’t save gas, but saves grass? Should be on a bumper sticker or something.

I’ve notified an attendant that the auto shutoff on the nozzle was not working, and that it was just pumping gallons of gasoline onto the ground.

He shrugged and turned to the next customer, and I left in a hurry.

Subscriptions and obscene pricing for features that should be included.

My Hyundai came with remote start, and I can use it for $200, annually.

The data plan costs them almost nothing. It’s practically a paging service, with very little actual data moving. I don’t need a concierge, or a person to read me turn-by-turn

I’ve been wondering the same. Maybe a buyer can ask the importer to load the trunk with oil filters and gaskets?

The seller asks $4,500 ... consider the impermanence and complexity that comes with all those conveniences.

Fuck that Miata. Hope the owner wraps around a tree. Hell, hope they exit through the windshield.
The latest trend in auto ‘style’ is to install red LEDs around the headlights. Then drive at night with the headlights off, and foglights on below the bumper, or a roof panel.

I cannot imagine why fuckwits think it’s cool

Cheap LED bulbs pulse on AC. Christmas lights probably use an inexpensive design. Higher quality bulbs smooth out the power delivery and shouldn’t flicker, even on camera.

This isn’t just in a novel. There’ve been a couple of young teens who ran off to ISIS. I haven’t the faintest idea how they thought it would play out, but it definitely went off script. Shamima Begum and Hoda Muthana.

I forgot that orders are placed before the pickup window! It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a drive-through.

Two points. First, how does this even work? Do I leave my credit card with the staff? Ten dollar bill and someone keeps track of the change?

Second, I feel bad for the staff. They had to explain this to hundreds of customers one at a time, at least until the news picked up on it.

How the hell does a turbo add only six horsepower? OK, so the engine’s compression might be a little lower pre-boost. But 57 to 63... Is this running one-tenth atmosphere?

Is this supposed to be a future thing? Because Hyundai was already nickel-and-diming some eight years ago. BlueLink meant a couple hundred bucks yearly for remote start.

On the upside, you could start your car from a buggy app when you’re still a few miles away. On the downside, more than half the time it just didn’t

It’s clean, has the better engine, and the price isn’t delusional. Also the DWS tires stick out. I’ve driven on the same for years now, and they’re not cheap. It implies that the owner isn’t cutting corners.

It’s a great specimen of car that’s best remembered romantically but not experienced. Maybe it’s a good price for a collector but not for driving value.

But amazingly, there’s currently one bid on the ebay listing.

*cute penguin enjoying melting snow before it’s all gone.

Lots of potential. The problem is that, after a lot of work and money, you still end up with a Del Sol.

terrifying monstrous behavior of a still unnamed white man

Yesterday’s CP is pretty easy to explain. Those who felt it was a good deal had to explain themselves. Those who felt it was a bad deal voted it down silently.

NP for the right buyer. The owner is very upfront about flaws, and I’ve seen newer cars in worse condition.
