They weren’t engineered by idiots. Old cars are wonderful and can be every bit as reliable as a new car once the ravages of time are reversed. I’ve daily driven cars 30 years old and older for years and I can count the times I’ve been stranded by them on one hand. Plus, they’re just cooler.

Honestly, I’m not entirely sure how true that is. With proper care and feeding, an old car can still be a good car while being all old and beautiful.
