“There were two control configurations, but as far as I could tell there was no way to remap buttons in this demo.”

Yes, actually. Made a post about it on the forum. Not that there weren’t about a thousand other posts already on there saying the same thing. Whether the forum for the beta qualifies as “the beta program” to you or not, I don’t know. Might have been an in-game button that I didn’t see. If anyone at DICE is paying

It is! I believe you can set any combo of languages for text/voice.

Actually, it’d be fascinating if that was part of her character and she told Noctis all about how she wears outlandish, skimpy clothes because she’s rebelling against the societal norms of Insomnia. But no. She just talks about fixing your car. Her character traits are: A) fixes cars; and B) wears a ridiculous outfit.

That’s not really my point. My point is that L2 is a weird and offputting place to put the map command.

Not really. It just doesn’t make sense. It’s completely at odds with the rest of the world — everyone else in Duscae/Hammerhead is just wearing normal clothing — and it’s an impractical outfit for her job as a mechanic. She also works with her grandfather. Who would dress like that around their grandfather???

It’s hideous and objectifying, which would bug me less if she weren’t the only female character I met during the entire two hour demo. I’m hopeful that Luna is badass, and I see nothing wrong with them choosing to do a story about four bros broing out, but considering Final Fantasy has set such a high bar for

I’m a little surprised that they haven’t changed Cindy’s design. It’s just poor in general. Almost generic when compared to Noctis and Co. Though to be honest, I haven’t seen a lot of debate on her outfit. So what’s the consensus amongst the Internet? Yay or nay?

Since I’m basically an unstoppable god at this point, it hurts my character way more to have Preston disappointed in me than it does having him shoot me.

Contrary to your article Patricia, he doesn’t lose his shit at all. I find his reaction seriously underwhelming. Considering the history of betrayal and hardship the Minutemen and Preston had to go through, that the Minutemen’s sole existence is to make boston a safe (raider-free!) place, that is his reaction when you

I’m surprised they didn’t make him turn on you. Would have made more sense.

He’s just mad he has a snake in his boot.

This is only my personal opinion.

Too many onions in my office at the moment...

Because it gives us the important reminder that not all gaming cultures are the same.

I’m weirded out that Call of Duty sold more than Dark Souls in Japan. Then again one is a smaller niche market, so there is that.

Vanquish though :D

Here, let me help you:

I’m surprised to see Call of Duty getting so many sales but no output of fps games from Japan really. Interesting. The rest I’m not surprised in seeing on there though.

It is surprising that a multibillion dollar industry has sales that don’t break 500,000 anymore in Japan. Of course those games must’ve sold at least 3X more in America.
