I can see why management would want the rank-and-file to come back to the office. It’s much harder to get your ego fix of people telling you how smart you are and how your calf implants definitely look real when there’s nobody in the office. It’s just not the same when it’s done over Meets Zoom Teams FaceTime.

I was losing two hours of my day.

Depending on the type of work you do, going into the office is never going to be what people want to do. I would lose an hour of my day traveling at my last job because we had to go into the office (pre-covid); not to mention gas and wear/tear on my car. My company catered in food every day, had ping pong tables, free…

MAYBE things would have gone differently if the arresting officers had known he killed a retired cop during his rampage, but that’s just fucked up in a different way. But yeah, it’s just “odd” how the guys with the body armor and guns and white supremacist manifestos never find themselves in choke holds or with knees…

Did the cops hug him and give him some warm milk and cookies afterwards like they do with all the other white supremacist mass murderers?

Would really be nice to edit this to make it painfully clear that the statistics he sites are patently false. 

I feel like he’s really only concerned about how much attention he’s getting at any given moment.

These days you can even ignore a subpoena by congress and get away with a slap on the wrist if you’re a rich asshole with a lawyer.

if this falls through—and who’s to say where it will end up at this point—the SEC has got to fine this dipshit a massive amount just for fucking with Twitter’s stock price, if not for arbitrarily withdrawing from a potential sale because he didn’t do his research, right?

this is playing out like a bad soap opera.  Now we just need Elon Musk’s long lost twin brother named Melon Tusk to show up and make an absurd counter offer, the two of them to fight and fall off a cliff, with no one being sure who survived.
