I’m...okay with this because legs.

There’s a serious lack of critical thinking in her letter. I can’t spend the time refuting why she’s wrong because I doubt she’d even understand or accept it, but I so wish there were less people like her *and him* in the world. Gross.

Her first speech after being elected will probably give you the payoff you’re really looking for :).

Please follow-up on this! I’d love to see what you find

As a guy, honestly, I never really understood how much of an issue this is for women. I talked to my sister about it recently, though, and she was telling me how often men are nasty to her for kindly turning them down. I could imagine it being a problem for women but between talking to my own family member and reading

That’s amazing. I went to a pretty large art school and I remember walking through some of the galleries and having similar experiences myself. There was a relatively plain bench sitting in one of the narrower hallways and people would sit on it, not realizing that it was a piece someone had done. I can’t remember all

I’m not a woman, but as a human being, I am so sick of this garbage. If I got anything like this I’d be livid.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I can understand why the family member quoted would feel this way and I don’t blame him for it.

Seems like this could have wonky environmental implications? But I guess if streetlights are okay this should be too...

Amazing story. I would have died.

Thank you!

Great post.

“ I’ve lived in Houston for less than a year and I’ve seen soooooo many damn people throw trash out of their cars while driving.”

I like people, honestly, but a lot of the inconsiderate things that people do bother me. I don’t really want to rant on the topic, but that’s kind of where I’m at with it.

Yessss. I have such low tolerance for people being in my space and it’s like people don’t get it. Honestly, I like going to places when they’re likely to be less crowded for this exact reason. People sneezing without covering their mouths or just generally being too close. I can’t.

Yeah, I guess I’d be more focused on the actual track if it’d just come out but since it’s been out for a while and the video is just premiering I think that’s why people are focusing on it. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to Ska music but I’ve heard of it. I’d look into it if it’s anything along these lines.

I really enjoyed Master of None. I liked that, despite the fact that there were minorities leading the show, from what I remember, they were portrayed as imperfect still and not really idealized to try and ‘compensate’ in some way for who they were racially. Plus I really just enjoyed some of the cultural context of

That sounds horrifying.

Now playing

This was definitely my favorite song on the album. I’ve always really appreciated this treatment in videos, also. It’s like chronophotography. I feel like the video would’ve been better with some sort of narrative, personally, but she looked amazing. I immediately thought of Pas de Deux by Norman Mclaren and was

Wow, I’ve never heard of this before. Seems like it’d be a great solution so long as they give a yellow light as well so that people know a red light is coming.
