That's an excellent point, though I can't wait for it to not be the case. I associate the denial of those rights with such an old way of thinking. Hard to believe that battle is still being fought here.

I wonder how women dealt with that shift in raising their daughters. I would imagine that it would be a challenge, if that shift wasn’t gradual, to have to teach them about fitting into society in a lesser role when you yourself weren’t always in that situation.
