I miss the Yucatan Mexican food truck that used to be in my area, it was different than the regular Tex-Mex stuff. Dude ditched it and opened a brick and mortar like 60 miles away...where people actually live, go figure. 

Low price point is huge factor.  I can go to my local Mexican place for breakfast and get a delicious and filling meal (homemade tortillas, homemade sauce, homemade everything!) for less than $6-7.  Not going to get this quality of food for that price point at many places these days.

Same here. Never been there until two years ago when I moved 1,000 miles away, but I was quite surprised it was actually pretty good.
