My wife’s vegetarian. It’s enjoyable to find things that are tasty and work for both of us. Sometimes stuff tastes mushroomy and sometimes it doesn’t.

The final season was a return to form. Best the show had been in years.

My issue with an American version of this is that it would be totally unable to stem hate speech or misinformation precisely because it is a government run platform. Twitter can drop Trump from its service because it’s private, no matter how much he screams it’s a free speech violation. If it were truly government

Since they’re using Mastodon, they really don’t have to build the tech, just configure it to their needs. I expect that the EU’s goal here is just to have a place where official news can be pushed out, doesn’t really need the latest and greatest features.

Or, and hear me out on this, just drink it at a temperature you find most pleasing.

I say this respectfully and with full knowledge it will likely send me to the greys: what is up with all the slideshows lately? If it’s a dictate from the herb blink twice and we’ll carry on like I never mentioned it.

Yep. It’s their version of click-bait. Instead of saying “An Alternate Way To Peel A Banana” they have to make it sound divisive and aggressive by saying “You’ve Been Peeling Your Bananas Wrong”.

Food should be well-seasoned already

I know this is just the way this whole family of sites are going, but I find it a real bummer the increase of headlines/articles to the effect of “this is the only right way” or “you’re doing it wrong”. It seems unnecessarily divisive and more mean-spirited than the culture/style that got me to read the Takeout in the

A proper baked potato takes too long to cook in a restaurant situation, and they don’t hold well for long. Nothing like a super-crispy oil-rubbed skin with soft, fluffy potato inside. Damn, now I want a baked potato with a ton of butter.

Add cinnamon red hots/imperials instead of peanuts.  Sorry not sorry.

I’ve also never had a properly cooked baked potato in even the most expensive restaurants I’ve been to. They’re always underdone and usually cold, and not hot and fluffy.

Counterpoint: Nearly every argument applies to nearly every restaurant.

Sure, but when I go flinging salt at a steak from standing eye level at home I just get yelled at to clean it up. Can’t put a price on having some wanker do that for you.

Texas Roadhouse has absolutely broken the system. They have figured out the exact cost to value point for simple beef preparation. Their $17 plate is as good as many $100 plates I’ve had. Their steak is probably a solid #3 best commercial steak I’ve had.

Or, yeah, do it yourself.

I couldn’t resist.

Personally, I try to stay away from places that have a bunch of warning signs to not be in the area and threaten arrest, so I find this one to be all on the knuckheads in the boat.

Lots of that hull will be underwater, obviously. Keep in mind this is a sailboat so much of what contributes to a traditional motor yacht’s profile, needs to be re-thought and moved out of the way. It needs to be long and low for efficiency. Personally, I think sailboats should look old. They’re romantic.

I mean, she got double-digit billions in the divorce, it’s not like she traded living with Jeff for living in a seedy motel until she can get back on her feet.
