Yep. Also don’t treat your employees like thieves. I know the US bill of rights applies to what the government can do to you but I feel like “unlawful search and seizure” should apply to employers and land lords as well without question.

As someone who dealt with variants of this myself, it’s subjective to the issue, even with 20/20 hindsight, I don’t think I found good ways to deal with some of the situations I had.

The biggest face palm I’ve ever had might be when I heard a reporter comparing US ambulance cost with UK (which is free), and the person he interviewed answered that they wouldn’t take free ambulance because if it’s free then it's not worth it.

Yeah, real developped countries do. They even pay for education. It’s great.
