Why bother, fly them back to their home country and bill the home country. Of course the home country will never pay, but it still sends a message.

I’ve always thought that an easy solution would be to, after they fail to provide documentation that they can enter the US legally, drive them from the border to the nearest airport and put them on a flight back to the capital of their home country, or whatever country they claim is their home if they choose to lie.
A couple of Chinese torpedoes or “stray” missiles could solve this as far as China is concerned.
Why is anyone on a military ship anything other than a member of the military?
Or do it.
You’re not going to get lab grade epoxy tops at a residential countertop place. Try Fisher Scientific, search for ‘lab countertop’ it’ll be in their lab furnishing catalog. There’s other companies as well, Durcon by Wilsonart (they also make residential countertops), ChemTops, LOC Scientific, and others. If you’re…
Keep the Buick, the 911 Turbo, and the first two bikes. The rest are past their prime, money pits, no longer fit your lifestyle and there for no longer needed, or all of the above.
One, I’ve been leerly of Turo ever since I learned what it really was, AirBnB for cars. Sketchy AF business model for something that can so easily be neglected.
I never used the word ‘just’, you added that. Adding it takes it from advice to employees to placing the burden upon employees, which was not my intent. I left the word ‘just’ out because it should not be there.
Quartz countertops are little more than crushed quartz bound together by epoxy.
After many years in chemistry labs, I want laboratory grade epoxy countertops with a raised edge to contain spills when I re-do my kitchen. They’re usually a dark charcoal grey, but I suspect that I could get them in some other colors. Heat and chemical resistant, scratches can be buffed out with fine grit sandpaper.
And employees need to advocate for themselves. They need to wear the PPE and expect it to be provided by their employer. I can’t tell you how many construction workers I see who don’t wear the correct PPE. It’s usually eye wear, but also respirators, hearing protection, long sleeves and long pants when engaged in…
Don’t worry about it. Either she will or she won’t. As long as you don’t have to live with her, you’ll be fine.
Marble in a kitchen is a horrible choice, it’s too easily etched by many common foods and cleaning products.
This has been known since at least the 1970s. This should have been written as a reminder not a “OMG! Have you heard about this?”
For me American Cheese is less about the flavor and more about the essential creaminess it brings to the burger.
I prefer my Iceberg lettuce shredded so that it doesn’t become a bond breaker, allowing the rest of the burger to slip out the back with a splat.
If the Swiss cheese gets down to the griddle or pan surface and gets slightly caramelized, it becomes wonderfully nutty.
Try making your own Teriyaki Sauce, it’s easy and you can make it as viscous as needed. America’s Test Kitchen has a recipe in their Teriyaki Chicken recipe that’s both easy and made from ingredients you can usually find at your local market.
Add the Worcestershire or Steak Sauce to the meat before grilling.
