So sad to learn of this. I just lost my sister after her fight with cancer and I feel her family’s pain.

So what's your excuse for being an asshole?

You’re spot on. As a Christian, I can 100% say that being a believer in Jesus and being perfect like Jesus are two COMPLETELY different things. Christians have depression just like anyone else.

Oh come on, there’s no way it was FULL speed.

I get that she might not align with your political beliefs, but that’s plain fucked up and unnecessary.

Her faith apparently prevented her from taking her life, but not from engaging in a high-risk lifestyle of illicit drug ingestion.

so, they didn’t get a blood sample at the hospital to run a drug screen on?

If only the article had included such a detail:

So what’s the substance?

So who was with her when she took whatever she took?? They need to find those people.

Is there a TL:DR version?  Because I checked out at “black receptionist/confederate museum” statement.

She really thought it would be o.k?????????????????

I work as a tour guide in Savannah, GA. This was the city that the Cornerstone Speech was delivered, by VP of the Confederacy, Alexander Stephens, in 1861. If there is any doubt to what the Confederacy stands for it is in this speech.

Can’t wait to see the NY state museum dedicated to Bin Laden- funded by the state. Maybe collection of his things- photos of him and his family.

I didn’t see her say that she reported it to her employers. And most of the examples in the article likely wouldn’t count as harrasment (the glaring, and the parroting lost causer bs).

It’s unclear when her EEOC complaint was filed.” - Her suspension was last month, and she just took retirement, so it’s early days on her EEOC complaint.

Is she a state employee?  Pension, low cost medical insurance (with optional dental) and a lot of other benefits.  Yeah. might be worth it to put up with all the other shit.

W-what?

A Black woman who worked for 12 years as a receptionist at Alabama’s state-run museum of the Confederacy has filed a racial discrimination complaint with the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission over her treatment while working there.

Since she is retiring maybe Candace Owens can take her place?
