I've officially quit my job to work full time on things I care about (with the odd stint of contracting/training/consulting to keep some money coming in). So here is my current in-flight work:

A real driver doesn't always behave that way. Imagine a situation where I'm on an icy road and a child runs out into the street- given the choice between striking the child or wrapping my car around a tree at high speed, I'd prefer to wrap my car around the tree.

Also hitting on another mans girl is entirely an asshole move

I honestly don't know. Then again, if you're an American from the South, you might just assume it's a British type name, and isn't silly at all.

Glad you liked!

I don't think Crank 2 was terrible, but it certainly didn't maintain the insane energy of the first. It was certainly unnecessary.

I love Karen as a coach. I don't know if you've ever seen Gestalt at a duo show, but we use Karen for that. She's amazing.

Oh, and because I'm a nebshit, who's your coach if you don't mind me asking?

Awesome! Practice groups are really great. So much fun. Look forward to seeing you around the SCIT.

Hey! Do you come out to the house-team nights and jams? You should! I'm on "A Gun Called Christopher Walken".

I passed a stool which was dark and gritty. I'm thinking about changing my diet.

God, the idea that I'm not going to change a lot in the coming years is terrifying. I want to change more! Change is life! I'm quitting my day job next week, without a plan, because I want change (okay, I have a vague plan).

Quick! To the Arrow-Car!

Or- and this is crazytown- Cal has some moral qualms with taking a human life.

If one is ever in London, the Benjamin Franklin House is a completely worthwhile tour. It's the last remaining building that he ever lived in, and they do a great job presenting the place as a tour. At the end, they have a Glass Armonica that you can try out.

No- I'm pointing out that there will always be situations that arise which cannot be described by a pre-defined ethical system. There is no universal ethical system, nor can there ever be.

While I grant than the Western use of the word "god" is highly specific, that hardly means that it's correct. There are plenty of religious traditions which have impersonal deities. Then there are the pantheists, who obviously believe in a deity, but don't ascribe it personal traits.

It's not that the male characters are flat on purpose. They're flat simply because the show isn't about them. Why waste time on unimportant characters? Art, Matt Frewer, Churchy Johnson and Pudgy McMonitorson exist to complicate the plot, not complicate the script. And yes, sorry, those are my names for them. They,

It doesn't semantically erase agnosticism. Agnosticism and atheism refer to completely different things. You can be a theistic agnostic- you act under the assumption that deities exist, but admit that there is no and can be no direct evidence of them. I've known a good number of religious people that would be agnostic

I had negative things to say about the article back then, and I'm not going to be any nicer about it today. Instead, let's just play a game called "set theory".
