I thought that was the actual definition of hipster. I usually think of it as, "Anyone younger and having more fun than I am."

Not that I plan to have a child, but if I do- that's at the top of the list.
Greek philospher Zeno was the first to point out that not only did nothing ever change, it was impossible for anything to ever change.
In a documentary I can't cite (for lack of recalling the name), they did spend a lot of time discussing how most of the women and children were in shelters near the coast- structures that were basically bomb shelters.
Probably not, honestly. I don't think the unions like that sort of thing.
I have a weakness with that. I generally can't improve the garbage. When I get into the right zone, I get this incredible, if surrealist, prose. Attempts to add plot or reinforce characters ultimately ruins it.
A close writer-friend of mine recently posted their four tips on the subject.
Focus on relationships. Establish them quickly. Engage in your space, and feel free to explore it. Get those details established fast, so that you can find game, play it, and get edited.
You misquoted it for her, you can misquote it for me! If she can stand it, I can!
Awfuly awesome.
Excellent connection, citizen. You have done a service to Alpha Complex.
I don't disagree. I still think it's funny, and I think it's gotten funnier with age, but I may be laughing at it, more than with it. There was definitely a phase in the 90s where comics tried to throw every nasty, dirty idea they could onto the page, and Trans-Met and Preacher show that.
I never saw Trans-Met as edgy. I mean, one of the jokes in the comic is that Spider Jerusalem becomes so popular that he's parodied in a cartoon as "Magical Truth-Telling Bastard Spidey", when the character is in turn a cartoon version of Hunter S. Thompson.
Poyo does not screw around.
"Keep this secret about Thea's real parentage for Oliver's sake." LOLWUT?
This isn't plagiarism. I honestly thought it was until you shared the side-by-side comparisons. Yes, the new art mirrors the design cues, and it's blatant imitation. But this isn't plagiarism.
I would wear suits and shirts made out of most of these.
Ra's is a good candidate for largest-schlonged villain, but I think it's probably one of the z-list villains that's sportin' heavy artillery. Somebody like Anarchy, or Vertigo.
